the saints can’t help me now, the ropes have been unbound
i hunt for you with bloody feet across the hallowed ground
If you could only see the beast you’ve made of me.

Monster Under The Bed by Savannah Horrocks
Maddie grunted against the man’s hand as he held her to the brick wall in the alleyway, and his body pinned her legs. She tried to shift when he started to go through her pockets and purse to find any kind of valuables, but his hold was too strong.
Her eyes moved when a small noise that sounded like footsteps trying to stay undetected started behind him, but it was probably nothing. The man moved back a bit to check the purse in the streetlight and she took the opportunity to use all of her lower body strength to kick him in the groin.
He fell back briefly, but quickly recovered and hit her hard across the face. She dropped to the ground, groaning in pain. “—asshole” She muttered and started to struggle wildly when he lifted her by the back of her hair. “LET GO OF ME!”
Avi reached forward quickly and grasped the other man’s neck. Twisting it upward and to the side until he heard the familiar pop. He let the body flop unceremoniously to the ground before taking a look at the woman.
"Now why is a girl like you doing out and about in all this turmoil? Don’t you know there are monsters out here who would gobble you up with out a second thought.?" He said a serious tone to his voice as he leaned down and handed her back her purse. "You should get home before something worse then that guy appears for you."
